24-hour Itineraries: Heritage

Rove City Centre is located at the heart of the bustling Deira district, in Old Dubai. The neighbourhood is full of iconic city landmarks, busy alleys and images that remind us of Dubai’s rich maritime heritage.

The heritage itinerary is for those that want to discover the most authentic sights of the city in a true Rove style. No glitz and glamour, or expensive attractions, just good old school Dubai.

Check our suggestions below:

After an energy-packed breakfast at The Daily, hop on a taxi and go for a Mystery Tour where taxi drivers are given free rein to show you their favourite city hotspots. 12pm – Taste of traditional cuisine:
Visit the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding, one of the oldest neighbourhoods in Bur Dubai and enjoy a meal with local flair while chatting with an Emirati host about UAE culture and customs. This is a great opportunity to discover the local traditions and sample some local food.
