Listed are some of the best parks in Dubai

Zabeel Park 

Zabeel Park is one of the city’s largest and most visited parks in Dubai, offering various sports activities, live music, and not forgetting the weekly Ripe Market event that offers fresh, organic produce and local arts and crafts. Zabeel Park is also home to the iconic Dubai Frame – this viewpoint offers visitors picturesque and unparalleled views of the city, showcasing the old and new areas of Dubai.

Dubai Garden Glow

Dubai Garden Glow is a unique recreational park with unusual innovative concepts located in Zabeel Park. Dubai Garden Glow offers the largest Glow-in-the-Dark Garden, a Dinosaur Park showcasing more than 100 animatronic Dinosaurs, plus an Ice Sculpture Park created with 5000 tons of ice. Apart from these exciting creative installations, there are live musical shows, an educational zone and a large food pavilion that offers delicacies from around the globe.

Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo

Dubai Aquarium’s 270-degree walkthrough tunnel makes for incredible close encounter experiences with some of the most fascinating underwater animals on the planet. Come eye-to-eye with sharks, stingrays and more. The Underwater Zoo is located on Level 2 transporting visitors through various aquatic environments. The journey consists of 3 ecological zones: Rainforest, Coastline and UAE Night Creatures, where a variety of aquatic animals are featured including penguins and crocodiles.

Dubai Creek Park

Dubai Creek Park is located on the edge of the Dubai Creek, making the park really stand out from the other green spaces in Dubai. The Dubai Creek Park features vast acres of lawns, botanical gardens and children’s play areas. There are many activities on offer from long promenades, live shows at the parks’ theatre, dedicated barbeque areas, mini golf, a go-kart track to bicycle rentals. In addition to all these activities, the Dubai Creek Park is also home to the Dubai Dolphinarium.

Burj Park

Burj Park offers unobstructed views of Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Fountain. The Burj Park lawn is 11,300 square metre in size and designed for a range of events including banquets, weddings and concerts. The park is an ideal destination for sport enthusiasts and for those who enjoy picnicking with a view.

Al Safa Park

One of Dubai’s most popular parks, Al Safa Park is a leafy sanctuary located in the middle of the city. The park delivers a complete escape from the bright lights of Dubai. It is a quiet location where people come to read books in secret gardens, and runners jog around the track. Although residents make use of the tennis and basketball courts, many other visitors head to Al Safa Park to observe the views of Downtown Dubai and the Dubai Water Canal.

Dubai Safari Park

Dubai Safari Park is located in Al Warqa’a and covers an impressive 1.2 square kilometer in size. The park is home to more than 2500 animals that originate from various countries around the globe and offers a high standard of animal welfare and nutrition. Visitors are enticed to explore the Arabian Village, Asian Village, African Village and enjoy the thrill of the solar-powered vehicles in the Open Safari. In addition to these activities, the park features a Children’s ‎Farm, live shows and picnic areas located by the parks scenic waterfalls.  ‎

Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary

Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary is located, in the Wetlands reserve close to Downtown Dubai. The reserve also serves as a breeding ground and is home to crustaceans, mammals and fish, but it is the flamingos that take centre stage in the winter months. Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary covers an area of 6km and features a variety of salt flats, intertidal mudflats, mangroves, and lagoons for the birds to use for their nests and individual habitats.

Al Mamzar Beach Park  

Al Mamzar Beach Park is located approximately 5 km from Hamriya Port making it one of Dubai’s hidden gems. The park is 106 hectares in size and offers barbecue areas, private chalets for hire, swimming pools, food kiosks, a scenic train, children’s play areas and endless beaches, lagoons and acres of green fields. The array of facilities at Al Mamzar Beach Park is enjoyed by water sports lovers, beachgoers, families, and groups looking for fun in the sun. The park offers over 1,600 palm trees, 300 coconut trees, and 6,000 various kinds of cultivated green life – making the park’s landscape as lively as its activities.
