Dubai Marina – Where it All Comes Together
The Dubai Marina skyline is a magazine and Instagram staple and perhaps the most iconic imagery to be associated with the Emirate. The picture-perfect backdrop of this burgeoning young neighbourhood presents a glimpse into the Dubai of the future. Its glittering skyscrapers & reflective waterways are definitely a sight to behold, but it’s what is hidden between the winding palm-lined walks and salty shorelines, where the Dubai Marina really sparkles.
It spans from the foot of The Palm, along the sandy beaches of JBR, ending with the Dubai Marina promenade and that is where you’ll find us! Located at the mouth of the yacht-embellished walkway, Rove Dubai Marina is the perfect hotel in dubai marina for leisure travellers who enjoy local urban art, city connectivity and walks to the beach. The hotel also provides bikes for rental at no extra cost, so you can grab one and go for a ride on Dubai Marina’s promenade.
Though this family-friendly neighbourhood is a pedestrian paradise, it offers a variety of unique and experience-worthy options for getting from A to B and exploring the rest of the city.
If the 3 km long palm-lined walk feels like a bit of a stretch, you can float through the heart of the Marina via the Dubai Marina Water-Taxi. Travel from end to end, crossing from one side to the other with the availability of 4 scenic stops – Marina Terrace, Marina Walk, Dubai Marina Mall and Marina Promenade.
Take a leisurely trip between the Marina, the Palm and the beach, using the Dubai Tram. There are also two interconnecting stations to the Dubai Metro for adventures farther out than your ‘back-yard’, going all the way to the Dubai Mall and even as far as the Creek.
You will also find local taxis dotted around for a more privatised journey, which charge by meter, making prices fair and transparent. Don’t be surprised if they suddenly jump up in price, that will likely be an electronic toll bridge that you’ve just passed under. So now that you know the how, it’s time to know the where!
